Using the Calculator
You can cut and paste from the data entry windows into the Calculator, run calculations, and paste back into data entry windows. In a 21st Century Accounting numeric field, entering a number plus an arithmetic operator (+, -, /, or *) displays the 21st Century Accounting Calculator with the value you entered inserted and ready to be operated upon.
Once you insert values from data entry fields into the Calculator, you perform calculations on them as follows:

Multiply a field value |
Type multiplier, press Enter or click = |
Divide a field value |
Type divisor, press Enter or click = |
Clear the tape |
Press Alt+C or click Clear button |
Clear the current entry |
Press Alt+E or click CE button |
Negate the current entry |
Press Alt+N or click Negate button |
Insert Calculator value in data entry field |
Press Insert Key |
Print contents of tape on defaultĀ printer |
Press Alt+P or click Print button |
Use F5 to open the calculator at any time, from anywhere in the system.
You can run the Calculator using the numeric keypad on your computer keyboard or using the mouse to click the numbers and the arithmetic operators.
