System/Company/Configure Database Access

In the System/Company/Configure Database Access window you provide the information that enables 21st Century Accounting to perform company database management operations on the server computer from "client" computers when 21st Century Accounting is being used in a multi-user environment. "Client," in the currently supported network configurations, is any computer functioning as a client in a client/server environment or as a Pervasive Workgroup engine in a peer to peer environment.

You provide a Windows User ID and Password to remote-connect to the server computer with administrator rights. The program stores the information in an encrypted file and uses it as needed to manage 21st Century Accounting company data from remote computers. If you do not know what User ID and Password to enter, contact your system administrator.

Please Note: This Windows User ID and Password are not related in any way to the 21st Century Accounting System User ID and Password.
