Uninstall from v7.9 leaves behind files is causing V.11 install to have problems.
To resolve the issue, you must remove all references to older Pervasive before you attempt to install the new version. Please do the following:
1. Uninstall Pervasive PSQL 2000i using the normal add/remove programs feature in Windows
2. Check to make sure that all PVSW folders are gone from the C:/ drive. If you see PVSW or pvswarch folders, you should delete them.
3. Do a full system search for a file called W3btrv7.dll and delete all instances of it.
4. Check the system properties for the PATH system variable and make sure that there are no references to Pervasive.
5. Check the system registry (HKEY/Local Machine/Software) for any references to Pervasive. Make sure to delete ONLY these items from the registry.
6. Now, install PVSW PSQL v.11 from the newest C21 CD.
